Introduction: Engineering Systems, Building Solutions
Hello. I am Josphat, the Managing Director (MD) and CEO of Whizpoint Solutions.
Beyond managing business operations and architecting enterprise software, I am currently pursuing my degree in Telecommunication & Information Engineering. This technical foundation in physical networks, signal transmission, and computing protocols provides a deep, full-stack perspective across modern digital ecosystems.
At Whizpoint Solutions, my primary focus is clear: To design and deploy robust, scalable, and intuitive software systems tailored for business operations. Whether engineering M-Pesa webhook reliability, developing offline-first Point of Sale (POS) platforms, or automating business workflows via WhatsApp microservices, I focus on practical, production-grade engineering.

The Intersection of Telecommunications & Software Engineering
Many ask how Telecommunication Engineering connects directly with software engineering. In practice, the two disciplines complement each other:
- Low-Level Protocols & Networks: Understanding TCP/IP models, socket management, and networking constraints allows me to construct applications resilient to network latency and data loss.
- Real-Time Data Pipelines: Telecommunications principles regarding data streaming directly inform real-time system architectures, WebSocket microservices, and live inventory sync engines.
- Hardware-Software Integration: From microcontrollers and IoT hardware to receipt printers and barcode readers, my background bridges physical devices with cloud software infrastructure.
